The holiday season is right around the corner, and it’s time to create unforgettable memories with your family! My highly anticipated Christmas Mini Sessions are back at my cozy studio in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

Every year, one of my absolute favorite things about Christmas mini sessions is welcoming back so many familiar faces. Watching your children grow, seeing how much they’ve changed from one season to the next, and becoming a small part of your family’s annual holiday tradition is truly the heart of what I do.

Whether you’ve been coming back year after year or this is your very first session, these quick and festive shoots are all about capturing genuine joy, warm smiles, and connection—without any of the holiday stress.

This Year’s Setup

You voted, and the results are in! This year’s theme had the most votes in my Instagram stories, so I’m thrilled to make your wish come true!

I am bringing to life a traditional Christmas winter wonderland in my Bletchley studio, complete with a touch of a fairytale magic. Think deep crimson reds and sage drapery, frosted greenery, and warm, twinkling fairy lights. Guiding the way are classic nutcrackers, snow-dusted pine trees, and a magical arch that feels like stepping right into the pages of a holiday storybook.

To bring this magical storybook scene to life for your photos, I’ll have a wooden sleigh for cozy children’s portraits. I’m also on the hunt for a large, classic nutcracker to complete the set for little ones to pose with! For family group shots, there will be a wooden bench sitting right at the center, creating the perfect frame for warm, comfortable, and timeless family portraits.

What to Wear

‍

To perfectly complement this year's snowy setup, I recommend sticking to classic Christmas colors like deep crimson reds, forest greens, creamy off-whites, and rich gold accents. Adding texture works wonderfully in this setting—chunky knit sweaters, cozy hats, and scarves bring a sweet, festive feel, while velvet dresses or satin outfits reflect the soft studio light beautifully. Whether you prefer tailored festive outfits or cozy seasonal style, keeping your palette simple and timeless will ensure your family portraits look stunning for years to come.

📌 Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking your Christmas Mini Session, you agree to the terms below. Please read carefully before securing your slot.

‍

• Non-refundable deposit of £29 – These sessions are strictly limited and organized around a precise studio schedule, and therefore mini sessions are non-refundable once booked. Since no additional dates will be added this season, I am unable to offer alternative backup slots if you cannot attend. However, if something unexpected comes up, you are very welcome to sell or gift your session spot to a friend or family member—just let me know in advance so I can update the client details for the session!
• One household per session – sessions are for immediate family only (parents and children). Cousins, friends, or extended families will need to book separate slots.
• Siblings welcome – no extra cost for brothers and sisters within the same household.
• Voucher policy – vouchers from full sessions cannot be used for mini sessions. They are valid only for standard, year-round sessions.
• Timing – each session is 30 minutes long. Please arrive on time as any delay will shorten your session.
• Age suitability – sessions are suitable for all ages, but not for babies who cannot sit unaided. Newborns and very young babies can be photographed only if held by a parent.
• Shoes – to create realistic winter wonderland, the studio floor will be lined with a soft, snow-like texture that gives the set that magical feel. To help keep this setup fresh for every family, please bring clean, dry shoes to change into once inside the studio. If the weather outside is wet or muddy, outdoor shoes will need to be removed before stepping onto the set.

• Capacity – maximum of 5 people per session.
• Payment – the balance is due in cash on the day of your session.
